Lunar poetry: Join us at the launch of ‘Pale Fire – New Writing on the Moon’ on 9 June

We are delighted to announce that Pale Fire, an anthology of new lunar poetry by more than sixty writers, illustrated by Fergus Hare, will be published at the end of May.
Join us at the launch at Fitzroy House, a beautiful historic building in Lewes, against a backdrop of Moon-themed art.

There will  be readings from several contributors and a chance to meet the editor Alexandra Loske and artist Fergus Hare. An exhibition of new art, Moongazing, curated by Sarah O’Kane will be on display at the venue. For more information see www.sarahokane.co.uk

At 2.30 in the afternoon on 9 June there is also a chance to attend talk about the Moon in art and science by editor Alexandra Loske and astronomer Robert Massey from the Royal Astronomical Society. They recently published Moon – Art, Science, Culture (Octopus, 2018).
